Back in 1997, Dr. Raleigh Duncan set out to understand how infrared therapy could help the body heal. Witnessing patients with chronic pain and fibromyalgia who found little relief in conventional treatments, he was inspired to create Clearlight Infrared Saunas.
The call that changed everything came from a husband whose wife’s fibromyalgia had stolen her life. Dr. Duncan made an unconventional decision to deliver a prototype sauna to their home, free of charge. Two weeks later, the husband called back in tears. His wife slept through the night, walked without pain, and returned to work. That moment crystallized Dr. Duncan’s mission to make healing accessible to everyone who needed it.
Today, Clearlight is the vision realized, measuring success in pain-free mornings, renewed energy, and families reconnecting through daily wellness rituals.
