Clearlight Infrared Saunas is happy to support the University of Mississippi Human Movement and High Performance Lab with a Clearlight Professional Sanctuary Retreat infrared sauna as part of their ongoing mission to conduct groundbreaking research. Two studies recently discovered using Clearlight’s infrared technology found:

Visual & Oculomotor Performance After Infrared Sauna Exposure
University of Mississippi researchers are studying how infrared sauna exposure may influence visual and neurological performance. Preliminary findings have shown improvements in visual tracking and neurological performance following heat exposure, including an observed improvement of approximately 38% in one measure of neurological performance.

Visual Tracking in Baseball Athletes
In amateur baseball players, researchers are examining whether sauna exposure may influence the ability to visually track a moving ball following physical activity. Early findings suggest improvements immediately following sauna use, with some benefit still observed 6–12 hours later.
